Signature Recipe: "Cinnamon-Walnut" Smoothie

Falling in love with a new kind of Mexican Walnut – one of our girls could not withstand to try these Noah Pure in a new recipe she had on her mind for a couple of weeks. Matching walnuts and dates and adding the extra flavor of grounded cinnamon to it would serve the perfect morning boosting breakfast. All you need to get your morning rock-started with a smoothie. What a nice recipe, what a nice surprise to enlighten your morning routine.




Hands-On Time 5 minutes and yielding 4 cups of a delicious breakfast smoothie (Gluten-Free, Vegetarian)


Ingredients

1 cup walnut halves rinsed

3 cups cold water plus more for soaking the walnuts

1 tablespoon honey

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract divided

Pinch kosher salt

1 cup chilled almond or walnut milk recipe below

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

3/4 cup roughly chopped pitted figs

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon plus more for optional garnish

1 cup ice about 8 cubes





The simple how to instructions.

To make an incredible delicious smoothie: Mix 1 cup of walnut milk with the yogurt, dates, cinnamon, and remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla in the carafe of a blender.


Blend on high until the dates are broken up and the mixture very smooth, at least 1 minute.


Add ice and blend briefly on high until ice is just broken up. Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with additional cinnamon (if desired), and serve immediately.
